Dr. Michael T. Kelly, Orange City Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Kelly opened his Orange City office in 1994. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University in 1989 and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1993, receiving a Top Clinician Award. Dr. Kelly remains committed to education as evidenced by his completion of over 1,700 hours of advanced study, mastership status with the International Congress of Oral Impantologists, and his attainment of Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry (Mastership is the highest educational level awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry with less than 1% of the dentists in the U.S having reached this level.) He was selected from over 350 doctors to attend The Leading Dentist Forum, sponsored by the famous Becden Dental Laboratory, which specializes in full mouth and smile makeovers. Dr. Kelly has studied at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) – learning Neuromuscular Dentistry and Smile Makeovers. Neuromuscular dentistry allows our team the ability to finally blend beauty with function to help ensure a long lasting result. Dr. Kelly has been asked to teach a seminar for Becden Dental Laboratory for dentists from across the country. He taught dentists and their teams at the 2008 annual meeting of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry - the world's largest Cosmetic Dentistry Organization. Dr. Kelly currently teaches cosmetic and implant dentistry to dentists from accross the country along with nationally known cosmetic dentist, Dr. C. Edward Miller of Scottsdale, AZ and to dental students at the University of Florida. Our dental team of seven, with a combined experience of over 100 years, is dedicated to the exceptional and comprehensive care of all of our patients. Dr. Kelly is currently working towards Accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This credential requires completion of a rigorous written examination, acceptance of five clinical cases demonstrating excellence in cosmetic dentistry, and an oral examination. He has completed over half of the requirments and is considered an Accreditation Candidate. This designation has been attained by less than 300 dentists world wide as of 2008. Dr. Kelly served as the President of the Central Florida Academy of General Dentisty in 2009 and is the dental director for the Good Samaritan Clinic, a faith-based non-profit dental clinic in Orange City, FL.
Dr. Kelly enjoys gourmet cooking, woodworking, SCUBA Diving, and traveling. He has been a member of BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) for 4 years, serving 2 years as a children's leader. Dr. Kelly and his wife are dedicated to their two children. This dedication carries over into the family-oriented practice atmosphere.
Jennifer, Dental Hygienist
A Florida native, Jennifer received her Dental Hygiene degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1993. She continued her education at Stetson Unversity, graduating with a degree in business in 1995. Jennifer is a member of the Volusia County Dental Hygiene Association, the Florida Dental Hygiene Association and the American Dental Hygiene Association. She also served on the Advisory Board for the Daytona Beach Community College Dental Hygiene School. Most recently, Jennifer began home schooling her daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling and exercising. Jennifer also has served as chairman of her past three high school reunions!
Debbie, Dental Hygienist
Debbie has over 36 years experience in Dental Hygiene. She graduated from Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey in 1975, with her A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene. She later continued her education at Union County College in New Jersey, where she was awarded her Expanded Functions Certificate in 1989. Debbie is a long time member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Hygiene Association (28 years), the New Jersey Dental Hygiene Association (15 years), the Florida Dental Hygiene Association (14 years) and the Volusia County Dental Hygiene Association (14 years). In her spare time, Debbie is an avid reader, exerciser, gardener and stays busy with church activities.
Barbara, Lead Clinical Assistant
Barbara has over 15 years of patient care experience in general dentistry. She received her dental assisting education from Daytona Beach Community College where she was awarded the Student of the Year award and graduated with high honors. She is a member of the National Association of Dental Assistants. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, cooking and exercising.

Julie, Front Office Manager
Although fairly new to the dental profession (joined the team in 2006), Julie has nearly 25 years experience as an administrative professional, ranging from an accounting assistant in her early career, to Corporate Secretary of a local community bank. She attended Valencia Community College in Orlando, focusing on business studies, and is a former member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Julie is very active in her church and also serves as secretary to the Worship and Arts department there. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, fishing, and has recently taken pleasure in honing her gardening skills. Since Julie has been a patient of Dr. Kelly’s since 1996, she can anticipate and understand the needs of our patients.
